How To Increase Computer Speed
1)Use Microsoft Fix It
Microsoft Fix It is a Free Tool from Microsoft that will help users of Windows 7 or earlier to clean up and perform many simple maintenance problems.
2)Reduce Items that Run on Startup
If your takes so much longer time to startup then follow these steps:
1.Press Win+R and then type msconfig and press OK
2.Go to Startup tab and uncheck the unnecessary programs and then press OK
3.It will ask restart, press OK.
3)Remove Programs no longer in use
Remove the no longer use Programs from control panel
4)Clean Your Drive
Clean up your drive by typing the cleanmgr.exe in the run menu to access disk clean up
5)Consider switching from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome
Internet Explorer takes very long time to upgrade and it has bugs. Google Chrome takes less time to upgrade and has fewer bugs compare to the Internet Explorer(Sorry for IE users).
6)Clean your browser
Regardless of your browser you should clean it regularly. For Google Chrome users click the three bars icon in the upper right corner and then choose Tools and clean the browsing data and cookies etc.
